That is the point.
Your pre-defined element list: Cannot be extended easily if someone wants
to have a new type.
My generic element list with enumeration attribute "type": Can easily be
extended by using "other:...".

It is not a matter of a possible difference between 'contractor' and
'partner'. These should have been simple naming examples.
I do not want to discuss the different types relationships. I'ld like to
have an enumeration which one could extend without asking a scheme
coordinator.
