Hi all,
in out last developer meeting we reviewed the specification of times for stops. The intended modelling for railML 3 currently includes an attribute for each time value that allows specifying the precision of said time value. During the discussion it was becoming clear that none of the developers in attendence would want to use this attribute nor could recall which requirement led to it. To illustrate the issue please find an example below:

<departure time="10:26:00" precision="unknown"/>

Im posting this in order to ask the community, if someone has a need for this attribute. If there isnt a need we would remove it from the modelling, so we dont clutter the new model of TT in railML 3 with properties that are not required by anyone.
As the publishing of railML 3.2 is getting closer, I would like to ask you to give your feedback until the 10th of April.

in unserem letzten Entwicklertreffen haben wir die Angabe von Zeiten für Haltestellen besprochen. Die vorgesehene Modellierung für railML 3 sieht derzeit für jeden Zeitwert ein Attribut vor, das die Angabe der Genauigkeit des Zeitwertes erlaubt. Während der Diskussion wurde deutlich, dass keiner der anwesenden Entwickler dieses Attribut verwenden möchte und sich auch nicht daran erinnern kann, welche Anforderung dazu geführt hat. Zur Veranschaulichung des Problems finden Sie unten ein Beispiel:

Ich poste dies, um die Community zu fragen, ob jemand einen Bedarf für dieses Attribut sieht. Wenn kein Bedarf besteht, würden wir es aus der Modellierung entfernen, damit wir das neue Modell von TT in railML 3 nicht mit Eigenschaften überfrachten, die niemand braucht.
Da die Veröffentlichung von railML 3.2 immer näher rückt, möchte ich Sie bitten, Ihr Feedback bis zum 10. April abzugeben.

Hi all,
as there was no response indicating a demand for the attribute, I removed it from the modelling. If in the future such demand is developing we can still add it again.

Da es keine Reaktionen gab, die auf eine Nachfrage nach dem Attribut hinwiesen, habe ich es aus der Modellierung entfernt. Sollte sich in Zukunft eine solche Nachfrage entwickeln, können wir es immer noch wieder hinzufügen.
