Dear all

During the 43rd railML conference, some interesting questions about ontology development were raised which we decided to repeat here:

(1) What are other ontologies relevant to map to railML ontology, e.g. ERA vocabulary, Transmodel etc.?
(2) Should the mappings be developed by the element (see the upper part of the figure for the ERA and IDMVU models examples) or by the schema (see the lower part of the figure)?

Please provide your thoughts on these points.
