Hi guys,

in railML 2 it was possible to specify for an ocpTT that a train stops with a certain alignment and offset at a stop. The alignment was defined as an enum with the possible values of head, center and rear.
In the context of railML 3 modelling the IS group raised the question if we would still need the option to specify the place for a train to stop regarding its center, or if that is not needed. What is your opinion? Are you using that value in railML 2?
Do you think we should keep that option for railML 3 as well?

---

Was ist eure Meinung?

Best regards, Milan

Dear all,

just to understand the background of the idea raised in the ETCS use case development group:
In ETCS specification the variable "Q_FRONT" models if the speed signal is valid for head of train or end of train. The value "mid of train" does not exist in this approach.

For more information, see https:// www.railml.org/en/event-reader/railml-is-etcs-telco-2021-11- 25.html

Best regards
