Hi all,

during a review of the railML 3.2 modelling we at railML.org came across the element networkResource, that is defined as an optional child of //network. It allows specifying an id, a name and description as well as a validity. It is not possible to reference a netElement from this, nor is it possible to associate such networkResource with a certain level of aggregation.

/forum/index.php?t=getfile&id=149&private=0

As it is not clear to us how this element is supposed to be used, we are asking the community, if someone has found an application for this element. If this is the case, please let us know. If it is not we would like to deprecate the element in version 3.3 in preparation of a later removal in railML 3.4. Please let us know your concerns until end of May.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards, Milan
