Dear all,

an idea - maybe already taken inti consideration by the responsible
coordinator - for better interoperability of the data:

Why not using the same name for the tags like in Openstreetmap? This
description is used widely and free available via their wiki at
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Map_Features. Maybe we need not the
same level of detail (as we're not Openstreetmap) but it's always a good
idea to call the same things with the same name in exchange formats. If
other available formats (like GML) have descriptions too, maybe they are
closer to railML?

Regards,
