This was exactly the original meaning of the attribute, to be used as
information for printouts. Like the 'published times', this commercial
track information may differ from the real infrastructure values.

This means you are pleading for keeping the 'trackInfo' for commercial
purposes? Maybe in a more formatted way like the internationalized
'messageText' of a 'connection'?
