Dear all,

the Human-Man-Interface (HMI) of interlocking systems usually has some
logical elements not related to physical objects which are only used for
indication or commanding.

But they need to be known to interlocking. One variant are the "route
indicators". For certain types of interlocking we need route indicators
for route begin and route end.

These indicators will be displayed on the HMI to show the status of the
route (active or inactive).

Is it possible to extend the data model of railML 3.x in that way?

Best regards,
