Dear all,

the Human-Man-Interface (HMI) of interlocking systems has usually some
logical elements not related to physical objects which are only used for
indication or commanding.

But they need to be known to the interlocking. One variant are Station
Indicators.

The Station Indicator defines a collecting detector (“Sammelmelder”).

The following list specifies what indications must be possible for such
a station zone:
- Automatic Route Setting
- Automatic Train Routing
- Catenary
- Door Alarm
- Emergency Stop Group
- Error Handling
- Fire Alarm
- Switch Cascade
- Crank Handle Cabinet
- Confirm Inhibitions
- Operating Areas
- Switch Heating
- Temperature Alarm
- Keylock Indicator
- Operating Group
- Local/central Operating Mode
- Overall operating Area
- Points Heating (Temperature sensor)
- Switch Signal (lightning)

Is it possible to extend the data model of railML 3.x in that way?

Best regards,
