Dear all,

in the interlocking subschema of railML 3 there are defined tvdSections
(track vacancy detection section).

We're wondering about the mapping of the tvdSection from interlocking
subschema to the infrastructure subschema. What is the relation to the
functional infrastructure?

Best regards,

Dear Heidrun,

a <tvdSection> may refer to different infrastructure elements that limit it:
* @hasDemarcatingBufferStop references a <bufferStop>
* @hasDemarcatingTraindetector references a <trainDetectionElement>,
e.g. an axle counter or an insulated rail joint of a track circuit.

Best regards
Christian
