Hello,

I'd like to inform about the current standings of the railMLeditor and the
import- and export-functions of infrastructure data in OpenTrack.

Still in the past year, everything was adapted to the officially released
version 1.00 of the infrastructure-scheme. By now, wide parts of the scheme
are fully supported by the railMLeditor.

Here an (incomplete) list of some newer functionalities (1=railMLeditor,
2=import-function of OpenTrack, 3=export-function of OpenTrack):

- <signalGroup> and <baliseGroup> (1, 2)
- editing of multiple-selections (1)
- internal and external connections (1, 2, 3), including importing and
exporting several connected files
- <infraAttrGroup> (1, 2, 3), (2 & 3: only speeds)
- <generalElement> (1 [, 2, 3])
- OpenTrack (and 2 & 3) now supports tracks and lines
- track elements, which are supported in 2 & 3: signals, balises, switches,
crossings, radius changes, gradient changes, tunnels, levelcrossings, speed
changes, crosssections

There are some screenshots available on
http://www.ivt.baug.ethz.ch/oev/railmleditor_d.html.
Feel free to ask!

I'm looking forward to hearing that railML-support of other applications
will follow soon.!

Best regards
Matthias Hengartner
