Dear all,

Dirk created a pretty cool wiki page about the different types of OCP
(aka Operational Points) [1]. It lists the following types:
* station (for passengers and freight)
* station (for passengers only)
* station (for freight only)
* stopping point (for passengers)
* loop (de: Betriebsbahnhof; no passenger and freight access)
* siding (de: Anschlussstelle)
* junction (de: Abzweigstelle)
* crossover
* block signal
* block post

.... and some combinations.

Thank you, Dirk!

My question to the community: do you miss any category? Do you know any
national-specific types from your country?

The intention is to use this list as basis for definition of OP types in
railML 3.1.
