Sometimes there is a little confusion about the correct XML syntax in
attribute definitions. Which version is valid, which not?

(a) <element attribute="value"/>

(b) <element attribute='value'/>

W3C [1] gives us the answer: both are correct!

See railML-Wiki [2] for any explanations and workarounds in case of
troubles.

Manchmal besteht Uneinigkeit über die richtige XML-Syntax für
Attributdefinitionen. Welche der folgenden Varianten ist korrekt? Welche
nicht?

(a) <element attribute="value"/>

(b) <element attribute='value'/>

W3C [3] gibt uns die Antwort: Beide Varianten sind korrekt!

Für diesbezügliche Erläuterungen und Workarounds im Falle von
Schwierigkeiten beim Datenaustausch hilft eine railML-Wiki-Seite [2]
weiter.
