Hello,

how to interpret the type-Attribute of the timetable entry-Tag?

The types "begin" and "end" - simply marking the first and the last
station of the Train or do they denote external stations, i.e. stations
not in the infrastructure?

Kind regards,
Thomas Schwanck

Hello,
the attribute 'type' of the 'entry' element could be either:
begin/end/pass/stop (in railML V1.1).

This is a mixture of two different meanings:
- stop/pass to indicate whether the train stops at this entry or passes
this point
- begin/end at the first/last entry to indicate if this is only part of a
longer train which is starting/ending somewhere else, or its begin/end

Usually an 'entry' is considered to be a station but not necessary.
Especially a passed entry could be any point along the track e.g. a
blocking signal.

In the new version 2.0 the attribute will be renamed to 'ocpType' (former
'type') in 'ocpTT' (former 'entry'), but with the same meaning and
characteristic.

Kind regards,
Joachim Rubröder
