Morning All,
I'm a new member and also new user of RailML!
My name is Josh and I work for Hitachi Rail in the UK, my experience is in on-train testing and now in the Systems Design of TCMS. I have some experience of the generation of infrastucture models for on-train system.
RailML came to my awareness on a new Rolling Stock project I am working on where we have to develop our concept of an Infrastructure "map" from scratch, and RailML has provided a great structure for visualising the problem.
My interest is in creating a representation of the rail network that is useful for on-train functionalities (e.g. where is a neutral section for pre-emptively inhibiting power collection, where is a tunnel for masking cellular connectivity faults)
My first question is regards whether there is a suitable element or attribute for identifying areas with Acceleration limits? These are areas of track where the acceleration of the train must be limited for power management or also, possibly, low adhesion.
I have seen SpeedProfile and also Speeds elements, but these dont seem to fit the bill. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks for your help!
