Details:

railVIVID® - the railML viewer and validator - is an advanced tool for viewing and validating railML® files. It not only allows developers to test their railML file but also enables non railML-experts to understand and evaluate railML data.

Validation Features:

  • Three-phase validation:
    • syntactical validation based on railML schemas
    • reference validation
    • semantic validation based on the approved constraints
  • Error reporting: Comprehensive feedback on errors, warnings and schema extensions.

Visualization Tools:

  • Infrastructure data: Tabular viewer for structural insights and geographic viewer for the various infrastructure elements
  • Timetable data: Graphic viewer for visual representation and tabular viewer with spreadsheet export for easy data handling
  • Rolling stock data: Detailed data viewer for managing rolling stock information

Not all of the above features are available yet. We are constantly extending railVIVID, so they will be released step by step.

For more information about latest available versions please refer to the railVIVID micro-website and take a look at our news.
