The modular Data platform InLineWeb.ITCS connects the real-time-data vehicle fleet, as well as the employees on site, to the continuous data- and information-flow. Through mobile applications for driver and train attendants, every employee can be connected to necessary information regarding punctuality, connections, journey-report and occupancy. The module “operational management” bundles all information about operational proceedings in real-time. Dispositive measures can be inserted, initiated or disclosed through the “Disposition-module”. In combination, all modules of InLineWeb grant a “360°-view” on operational proceedings and make an immediate interference possible, if needed. Connections to standardized services, as well as individual interfaces to surrounding systems (e.g. Planning, maintenance, etc.), function as a data hub (base).
The heart of a passenger information system is represented by the land-side data management in the module InLineWeb.PIS. Next to the connection to the planning system, for the purpose of journey-timetable- and vehicle-rotation-plan-supply, InLineWeb.PIS takes over management of infrastructure- and network-information, e.g., stop-coordination, stop-intervals, station-configuration and more. With InLineWeb.PIS our customers are not only able to ensure optimal data supply of their fleet with actual base- and real-time-data but are also capable of editing data. They determine what is displayed at what time each of the different channels (acoustic and visual).
Which announcement is issued as a reception and what is displayed at the same time on the passenger-information-displays in the vehicle? With InLineWeb.PIS are able to build their own program sequences, send updates via mobile communication in real-time and orchestrate the passenger-information on their vehicle fleet on their own.
With the module InLineWeb.APC we are granting access to automatic passenger-counting-data (APC-data) and the whole post-processing-chain for our customers. InLineWeb.APC assists in allocating the APC-data to the fitting journeys. It is capable of the statistical processes that are predetermined by the VDV457-guideline regarding the journey-adjustment and knows technical specifics like the “waiting room”. Additionally, the module grants the possibility to detect technical disruptions and error indications, so these can be corrected in a workshop as fast as possible. Next to data-processing, InLineWeb.APC inheres several standard- and individual export-possibilities as evidence for transport performance or operational analysis regarding optimization and planning. InLineWeb.APC is not manufacturer-bound and can be applied with APC-data of any vehicle-system.
The module InLineWeb.RRS extends the InLineWeb platform with an integrated solution for planning and managing rail replacement services (RRS). It enables operators to plan, request, and manage substitute transport based on enhanced master data, including road routes, travel times, and adaptable stop sequences derived from existing rail lines. Integrated data of bus operators allows direct electronic service requests and efficient coordination of transport providers.
During operation, InLineMobile.RRS connects drivers with the control center and generates real-time data on punctuality and occupancy. Trips can be monitored continuously, while automated passenger information is provided using road-based forecasts (e.g., VDV services). The integration of the EFZ interface ensures seamless transfer of reference timetables. Combined, the module ensures a consistent workflow from planning to real-time information.
