Details:

Digital Infrastructure Model (DIM) is a domain semantic knowledge graph for railway infrastructure, designed to support consistent and high‑quality infrastructure information across planning, operations, and different use cases, and to enable analysis of infrastructure data. DIM is not a traditional software application, but a platform built using open technologies, the semantic stack (W3C) and open standards, including railML 3.x.

DIM represents railway infrastructure as structured and semantically linked information, enabling the generation, validation, and distribution of railML files for different purposes and system integrations. The solution currently supports the infrastructure subschema and is designed to be extended to additional railML subschemas over time.

Access to DIM is provided through a web‑based portal where users can explore the data in the knowledge graph and download railML files as well as railway infrastructure data in other formats. Selected content will be publicly accessible, while sensitive or restricted information will require authentication.
