The software tools labelled as "certified" in the description are displayed initially on the page, as they are capable of exchanging data in accordance with the railML standard.

The following definitions apply to the certification filters:

- "Certified" indicates that the software has been successfully  certified by railML.org and is suitable for productive and commercial use.

- The status "In Progress" indicates that the software is undergoing testing for certification.

- "Not Certified" indicates that the software has not yet been certified for one of two reasons: either the certification process has not yet begun or the software has to be certified.

- "Not to be certified" indicates that the software tool is exempt from railML certification (Please refer to our Certification Manual for more information).
