First meeting with representatives of EULYNX project
(comments: 0)
Following the invitation of DB Netz a first meeting with the organisations railML.org and UIC and representatives of the project EULYNX took place on August, 23rd 2015 in Frankfurt (Main). EULYNX was initiated at the beginning of 2014 and shall reach a standardization of data in the field of interlocking during its project term of three years. Like in the German DB Netz project PlanPro, EULYNX shall model the data flows in the processes of design, planning and enhancement uniquely from the perspective of the infrastructure managers. The aim is to reduce time, costs and mistakes.
Since 2014 a developer group with participants from industry and railway exists on the part of railML.org. They follow the idea of developing a railML-interlocking- subschema with similar goals. In first line the reason for the meeting was to get to know each other and present the projects. Currently potential interfaces are evaluated and a cooperation is discussed.
