The ”ARGE ÖVV – Arbeitsgemeinschaft der österreichischen Verkehrsverbund-Organisationsgesellschaften OG” is the syndicate of the seven Austrian public transport authorities. Core objective is to develop and operate a consistent online platform for public traffic information throughout Austria. The traffic information includes local, regional and long-distance traffic, both in scheduled and real-time data.

To collect and provide traffic data is the main but not the only task of ARGE ÖVV. Further assignments include legal coordination, processing of current topics and further development of public transport services and offers. Additionally, ARGE ÖVV has established a central coordinating office for regional rail transport. Its main objective is to support the federal states and public transport authorities in their tasks and to coordinate the data exchange.
