HaCon’s train planning system TPS combines infrastructure, timetable and train path management as well as all interaction. It has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of rail infrastructure providers and facilitates the process of managing network capacities according to the regulations of the European Union.

A standard software, TPS was developed to allow the integration of any customer-specific functions. Multi-user operation is a central element in the software architecture. As a result, trains can be processed by different plannersat the same time. Rights, roles, groups and users can be defined precisely.

The export of timetable data is based on railML® 2.2. It includes all timetable data from TPS as well as relevant data for the infrastructure/rollingstock elements to allow a receiving system to validate and process the file. Besides the standard railML®-compliant elements, the export contains additional data structures based on our own railML® extensions.
