IVU.rail is a software solution specially developed by IVU Traffic Technologies AG to meet the timetabling, schedule planning, staff roster planning as well as the vehicle and personnel dispatch requirements of railway traffic. As an integrated planning and dispatching system for railway transportation – whether intercity, regional, suburban or underground railway services – the system creates individual or connected train formations, can integrate changes in the coupling of units several times a day, manage changes of direction, incorporate sidings and maintenance operations as well as plan multiple crewing with train drivers and onboard staff.

Thanks to special planning algorithms and duty rules as well as a comprehensive train management system, IVU.rail can handle these tasks with no trouble at all. In addition, a sophisticated version management system provides numerous simulation options and timetabling scenarios. As a result, it is possible to plan a wide range of operating conditions in advance to identify the most cost-effective variants.

IVU.rail not only supports all activities in railway operations and optimizes the overall deployment of staff and vehicles, but also ensures the efficient management of resources in railway transportation.
