50th railML Conference

The 50^th railML Conference will be held in hybrid format with the invitation of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) in Gebäude Westlink - R ZAS VULK11 1.C.336 at Vulkanpl. 11/17, Zurich on the 5^th of November, 2026 from 8:30 to 16:00 CET.

This key event for the rail data exchange community will bring together professionals, experts and stakeholders to discuss the latest advancements and applications of railML^® standards.

Key points of the conference are as follows:

• Release of railML® 3.4
• Presentation of extended and new use cases for railML 3.4
• Best practice reports from partners on railML implementation
• Release of IDX4rail 1.0 regarding consolidation of lightrail data (railML partner project)

Further details about the agenda and participation will be announced in the summer of 2026. Presentations from your developments or experiences with, through, or about railML are very welcome. We are looking forward to receiving your proposals up to October 22^nd, 2026.

The participation at the conference is free of charge, thanks to railML partner SBB. Nevertheless, registration is mandatory in order to participate. As railML.org is focused on B2B collaboration, please note that only registrations with a valid business email will be accepted.

Registration closes on October 31^st, 2026 (EOB) or when all available seats are taken, whichever comes first. Participants from companies with associated or strategic partnership will be given preference when allocating remaining places.

During this event, photos and videos will be taken. They will be used for documentation purposes and our public relations work. By registering, you declare your consent.
