Details:
Hacon's train planning system TPS includes modular software solutions for train and capacity management. With the applications operational processes can be optimized and existing networks can be used to their full capacity. The TPS Suite combines long-term timetable construction (TPS.plan), live-dispatching of trains (TPS.live), track work coordination (TPS.trackworks) and data management (TPS.integrate). All software solutions have been specifically designed to meet the requirements of rail infrastructure providers and facilitate the process of managing network capacities according to the regulations of the European Union.
Multi-user operation is a central element in the software architecture. As a result, trains and resources can be processed by different planners at the same time. Rights, roles, groups and users can be defined precisely.

The railML timetable export includes much of the timetable data from TPS as well as relevant data for the infrastructure/rollingstock elements to allow a receiving system to validate and process the file. Besides the standard railML®-compliant elements, the export contains additional data structures based on our own railML® extensions.
