Details:
Railonomics®-Infra is software to rate and optimise railway infrastructure. If has been developed at the DLR Institute of Transportation Systems. Detailed data of infrastructure, timetable and rolling stock are imported from common simulation tools into Railonomics®-Infra using railML® as an interface. These data is then combined with life cycle costs and benefit scores. This enables the user to compare a large number of different infrastructure versions in terms of their economic efficiency and non monetary benefit. Therefore the infrastructure best tailored to requirements can be identified.
