Details:

FIS-Zentral is the backend-part of the BLS passenger information system. The system processes all the messages for the peripheral system in the vehicle for example regarding loudspeaker announcements, information on displays and much more. This happens through the generation of message-streams by reference to defined rules. Those rules apply to the current timetable. The railML 2.1 standard is responsible to import the raw data from the disposition system, called RailOpt Traffic, and for getting information about the actual traffic situation from the SBB KI-HUB system.
