DatNet, an innovative real-time information platform with ITCS functionality, was specially designed and developed for the digitally changing transport sector of the future. As a data hub and ITCS in transport companies, DatNet stores planning data and receives all real-time updates during a journey. As an intermodal platform, DatNet works for trains, buses and even other means of transport such as ships. Data is processed, stored and automatically distributed to internally connected modules and data hubs of other companies. The system can thus ensure smooth communication with passenger information systems (PIS) and counting systems (APC), ticket machines or security and information systems, as well as with new media such as Google Maps, Facebook or Twitter, via a large and freely expandable range of interface formats. All common interfaces such as SIRI/NeTEx, VDV 45x, TAF/TAP TSI, railML etc. are available out of the box.

As a central data hub, DatNet maps all business-relevant processes of transport companies. Modules such as vehicle scheduling, electronic documentation or the paperless driver's cab in the DatNet mobile app work seamlessly with target timetable management and daily scheduling.

All processes are digitized, automated and optimized in the cloud-based DatNet platform. Users can access their operating data at any time and from anywhere using a web browser and a secure login. ETC ensures high availability and 24/7 user service for the platform.
