Hello again,

I refer to my 2 postings
(a) november 2, 12:25, "Re: V1.00 RC1: open discussion points, part 2",
section "*** <idea> ***"
(b) today, november 16, 16:24 (internal connections).

Internal connections (in any of the suggested implementations) could also be
used to connect a track with a crossing of another track.

We remember (a): We have 2 tracks which cross each other. We want to
implement it in a way, that both tracks are coninuous (instead of one track
with a crossing and 2 tracks which are branches of this crossing).

/
/
Track1 /
----------+-----------
/
/
/ Track2

With internal connections ((b), in any of the suggested implementations), we
can solve this problem quite smartly:

/
/
Track1 / [con2b]
----------+-----------
/ [con2a]
/
/ Track2

([con2a] and [con2b] are internal connections of Track2)

I hope you get the link between these two ideas. Otherwise, feel free to
ask!

Best regards,
Matthias Hengartner
