(German version below)

Hi,

herewith I want do ask for the introduction of some more attributes at infrastructure.operationControlPoints.ocp. They are necessary when using OCPs as "stations" in connection with (public) timetables, so as "target objects" from timetable.trainParts.

- new attribute "abbreviation" (or "abbr" for short, but please do not tell Susanne) at an ocp:
Normally, in (internal) timetables a station is idetified by an abbreviation. The abbreviation cannot be used in the attribute "id" because there are no spaces allowed there but an abbreviation may have spaces (especially in Germany). I think it also makes no sense to write the abbreviation into "name" and then write the name into "description" - it would be unnecessarily confusing.

- possibility to repeat the attribute "name" (using a sequence?) and combine it with several more properties:
We need a distinction between an "operational" and a "public" name (operational name may be the name of a signal box, the public name may be the name of a halt nearby; this happens for instance if there are several halts in one greater station area). Additionally, a station may have several spellings/syntaxes or languages, e. g.
Athens Airport ΑΘΗΝΑ ΑΕΡΟΔΡΟΜΙΟ
Olympia ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑ
Spreefurt Delni Wujezd
Hoyerswerda Wojerecy
Dublin Baile Átha Cliath
So since it may be either charsets or languages there should be at least one optional attribute coding the charset or language.

(Background: We really have the necessarity to feed public information systems - public printed timetables, dynamic information boards in the vehicles and booking and ticketing systems - with more than one language. In the public printed timetables, both names are written beneath each other in separate columns. In Greece, there is printed a "Greek letter" and a "Latin letter" version. The dynamic information boards switch between the languages after some seconds.)

Thank you,
with best regards,
Dirk.

Hallo,

Athens Airport ΑΘΗΝΑ ΑΕΡΟΔΡΟΜΙΟ
Olympia ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑ
Spreefurt Delni Wujezd
Hoyerswerda Wojerecy

Hi Dirk,

both of your requests have already been implemented for the last RailML
meeting in Braunschweig last week.

The abbrevation has become a new attribute for <ocp>. The additional
names can be provided as unlimited child elements of <ocp>/<propOther>
called <additionalName>.

Please see the log messages for commits #223 and #224:

In case of any question please feel free to contact me.
